This 1 year pilot study involving 3 HG therapists working 1 day a week each was successfully completed. The original study proposal document can be accessed here. The findings were very promising, clearly demonstrating that the majority of clients showed significant gains on all outcome measures.

Ongoing:

While the initial 6 month period of this study is long since past, the Human Givens Institute (HGI) has recommended as best practice that all Human Givens (HG) therapists continue to measure their outcomes on an ongoing basis. At the beginning of 2009 we now have outcome data involving over 1200 finished courses of treatment. We are working towards publication of our data in independent peer reviewed journals and we will continue to update this website with our latest findings.

3 years of data collection in the HGIPRN will be submitted for evaluation in April 2010. It is anticipated that an article will be prepared for publication for submission in then Autumn of 2010.

How to participate:

All Human Givens Therapists, in training or fully qualified, are invited to join our Practice Research Network and contribute data. Please e-mail Bill Andrews providing details of your stage of training or your Human Givens Institute Registration number. You will receive the necessary instructions.
