Research Projects

Current projects

Since June 2005 a group of HG therapists have been using the ORS/SRS measures. The results from their completed clients are collated here.

The Red Poppy Company offers trauma management services specifically to organizations. They have been using the IES-E measure for trauma for some time. Their collated results are represented here.

Hartlepool MIND has been using the HG approach for some years. A wealth of data has already been and continues to be accumulated. Work is in progress towards documentation and publication of research findings.

For more information on developments please see latest news on the

Human Givens Foundation main website.

Commenced April 2, 2007:
HG Approach in General medical Practice- Dr Gina Johnson

On Wednesday, March 7, a preparation and training day was held at Churchfield Medical Centre in Luton to introduce all staff to the evaluation study that was just about to commence. Please read the full proposal document for this project here.

At the end of June we had the 3 month review of the project. Initial findings are very promising. The majority of clients are showing significant gains on all outcome measures. The therapists have adjusted to the system very well and are enjoying the rich quality of progress feedback, enabling them to furher enhance their therapy.

The 6 month review will be held in October.

We will keep you updated on progress so check back regularly.

We are actively recruiting therapists for this study, particularly if you work in a primary care trust, voluntary sector, or for a charity. Please consider joining us and being part of this important study.

Sept. 18th, 2007

This exciting project is about to commence. We're delighted with the response and we have recruited over 50 therapists into the study from a very wide range of settings, from primary care, insurance work, secondary care, voluntary sector and private settings. All will contribue their data using CORE-Net, the innovative internet-based programme created by CORE IMS

www.coreims.co.uk

Ongoing:

Continuing accumulation of practice based evidence using CORE and ORS/SRS outcome tools in day to day practice. We now have over 500 results in our ORS study. It is particularly interesting to note that the ratios are remaining consistent even as the numbers increase and as the data is increasingly provided from therapists working in primary care settings.
