HGI Practice Research Network

We are very privileged that the HGI pays the substantial licence fee for the use of CORE Net on behalf of its members. In order to contribute to the work of the HGIPRN the first step is to become familiar with the methodology that we have adopted. All Human Givens Therapists, in training or fully qualified, are invited to join our Practice Research Network and contribute data. You are entitled to access to all the training materials provided by CORE IMS and any relevant additional material on our Training Protected page. For further information please e-mail Bill Andrews identifying yourself and the stage you are at in Human Givens Training. Please provide a contact telephone number in your e-mail. Bill will then provide you with the username and password required to allow you to access the protected page.

Once you are familiar with all of the materials and have completed the necessary training tasks Bill will set you up with access to the HGIPRN live CORE Net site and all of the excellent benefits that this facility offers.

You may also wish to increase your understanding of many of the issues around outcome informed practice by accessing further online training.

It is also very valuable to become familiar with the existing data on counselling and psychotherapy. A recent publication by Professor Mick Cooper:

Essential Research Findings in Counselling and Psychotherapy

is an excellent introduction.
